ASN NEWS USA — SPECIAL REPORT
MIAMI (ASN NEWS USA)— The party is setting sail — and this time, it is carrying a purpose with it.
Urban One’s rebranded ONE Voyage Experience 2026 departs Miami today, October 26, aboard Virgin Voyages’ adults-only Resilient Lady, sailing a 7-night run to Nassau, Bahamas, and the exclusive Beach Club at Bimini. Comedian and radio star Rickey Smiley hosts the voyage, which celebrates 25 years of music, culture, and community.
The lineup reads like a reunion of Black music royalty: D.L. Hughley, Keith Sweat, EU featuring Sugar Bear, Karyn White, Pastor Mike Jr., Jekalyn Carr, Johnathan McReynolds, King George, 803 Fresh, Confunkshun, the SOS Band, the Commodores, and the Ohio Players, among others.
But ONE Voyage is not just a floating concert. Keeping the “Party with a Purpose” legacy alive, the cruise partners with the United Negro College Fund (UNCF). Every tax-deductible contribution directly funds scholarships and resources for HBCU students — real pathways for the next generation of Black leaders.
That is the model worth celebrating: joy with a job to do. Dance on the deck, then send a student to college on the same ticket.
