Jay-Z Reportedly Set to Headline Super Bowl LXI Halftime Show

ASN NEWS USA — SPECIAL REPORT

LOS ANGELES (ASN NEWS USA)— Jay-Z is reportedly set to headline the Super Bowl LXI halftime show, the biggest stage in music — and the moment couldn’t be more perfectly timed.

Puck first reported the booking on Tuesday, and a music industry source with knowledge of the talks confirmed it to Deadline. The show is set for February 14, 2027, at SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, California. The 2026–2027 season marks the 30th anniversary of Jay-Z’s debut album Reasonable Doubt and the 25th anniversary of his landmark The Blueprint — milestones he has been celebrating on the global Jay-Z 30 Tour.

The 25-time Grammy winner has been on a historic run. He grossed more than $42 million across three sold-out Yankee Stadium performances in July and pulled $12 million from a sold-out show in Paris in September. His eight-episode documentary series Jay-Z in 8, produced with legendary producer Rick Rubin, debuted on HBO and HBO Max last month. He plays SoFi Stadium himself this Friday and Saturday — a dress rehearsal for the biggest night of his career.

If it holds, this is more than a booking. It’s hip-hop’s coronation on the world’s loudest stage, delivered by one of the culture’s founding architects.
