NEW YORK (ASN NEWS USA)— Drake is not letting HABIBTI rest. Four new tracks landed October 2, and the numbers say the deluxe edition is about to put the album right back in the Billboard 200’s top two.
The additions — “Quebec,” “Cold Shoulder” featuring Don Toliver and Yebba, “Classic PT2,” and “Solar Eclipse” — first appeared in Drake’s FOMO short film and hit streaming October 2. In their first full day, the four songs pulled roughly 8.96 million combined Spotify streams, per streaming tracker Bars. “Solar Eclipse” led the pack with about 3.3 million; “Cold Shoulder” and “Quebec” each drew around 2.2 million.
Early industry projections put the deluxe edition at roughly 65,000 album-equivalent units in its first week, with a possible climb back to No. 2 on the Billboard 200. Those are projections, not official tallies — Luminate’s numbers settle the final total when the chart publishes.
The play is clear. The deluxe model keeps a project alive without a full new album, and Drake keeps proving he can turn film material into a second commercial run. Four songs, nine million streams in a day, and a chart re-entry on the table — that’s leverage.
