ASN NEWS USA — SPECIAL REPORT

ATLANTA (ASN NEWS USA) — New Music Friday arrived loud. Future shocked the timeline Friday morning with the surprise drop of “Ya Hit,” featuring Drake, Travis Scott and Loe Shimmy — a four-way collaboration announced and released the same morning.

The track pairs three of rap’s biggest names with rising Florida rapper Loe Shimmy, and it landed without warning, the way the culture loves it best. No rollout, no teaser — just the music, straight to the people.

A Stacked Friday

The surprise drop was not the only heavyweight move of the day. Lil Baby delivered his fifth studio album, FRESH, through Quality Control Music and Motown Records — 17 tracks with guests on only two of them, led by the single “Dead Fresh.” Lil Baby is also set to perform at halftime of the Atlanta Hawks game at State Farm Arena on Saturday, turning release weekend into a hometown moment.

Meanwhile, Swizz Beatz put Stove God Cooks front and center with “STOVIE’S HOME (Down Down),” billed as the lead single for his upcoming album. And GloRilla and Sexyy Red teamed up Thursday on “Jiggly Bow Bow” via CMG/Interscope Records.

From surprise drops to full albums, the culture is feeding the streets this weekend — and the timeline is eating it up.
